Proposed as Australia’s first 6-star beach front hotel and located in Surfers Paradise, Aquis Tower is set to become a benchmark for luxury development in the Asia Pacific region. The elegant 48 storey, 580 room hotel has been carefully crafted by the design team converting a difficult corner site into an iconic building form with an unforgettable presence to the urban landscape.
With lavishly appointed features the ground floor lobby presents a tiered composition of elegant spaces over 3 levels with feature sculptural centre pieces and an intricate formal landscape design. With exclusive restaurants and bars overlooking the multiple intricate swimming pools and water features the design embraces the surrounding context of the mountains, ocean and Gold Coast skyline.
The landscape design has evolved as a complimentary element within a truly collaborative design team and the results of this process are clearly evident in the composition of luxurious pavement patterns, recreation and relaxation spaces, and swimming pool designs throughout the multiple levels of the tower.
