The Au Tower at Southport presents an impressive two-tower development which embraces a fluid and organic design language activating both the skyline and translated into the sites ground plane.
The organic shaping of the ground plane spaces and retail/ restaurant outlets creates an intriguing movement network through and across the site. The lush planting draws visitors through the space, seamlessly linking the street to the internal canyon. Layered vertical landscape links upper levels of the podium to the ground plane reinforcing the definition of space and meandering movement through the site.
The sculptural form of the recreation deck is directly inspired and linked to the organic language of the architecture. The undulating swimming pool is surrounded by dense subtropical planting pockets and sculptural pool pavilions, creating a selection of semi-private, shaded garden rooms for residents.
