Seven Mile Beach Resort is a proposed eco-based tourism development in the central NSW coastal shire of Shoal Haven. Surrounded by protected natural parks and beaches, the development is considerate and complementary to its surrounds. 179 ha of land has been converted from existing agricultural and mining uses into an 18 hole golf course, residential and accommodation facility.
The design philosophy seeks to draw on the scenic and ecological qualities of the surrounding area to create a robust and unified landscape design that reinforces the area’s bushland character and sense of place.
Large scale revegetation and regeneration of existing water bodies will ensure the natural integrity of the area is retained. Proposed built elements are sensitively integrated into the landscape to create a cohesive and dynamic natural setting.
